Internship:  Masters students in Art Therapy can participate in collaborative projects with local partners who will integrate art therapy services.   A contract is signed and a manual for protocol is provided.  Current nonprofits who participate are:

  • The James House – a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis agency located in Petersburg and Hopewell.  The James House requires completion of 40 hours of training.   A counseling or an art therapy series can be set up in either location or possibly in Chesterfield County.

Clinical Supervision for licensure is available for those seeking ATR, ATR-BC and LPC supervision.   A contract will be signed.  Please contact Dr. Gardner to discuss fees.   Communications via phone/text/email are available during the contract time but are not considered to be part of the reported supervision hours unless included within the fee structure.
